Jaydabug is Two Months Old!

I can't believe time has passed so fast. My little bug is now 2 months old today. I have been loving motherhood and have not had time to update anything really because I have been enjoying her so. We had a party for her when she turned 1 month old. We had a traditional "Sip and See" party, where family members and friends get together to meet and celebrate the birth of the baby. It was exciting and we had a pretty good time. Pics below:

We also took newborn pictures, in which I felt could have been done way better than they were, but you get what you pay for these days. We decided to venture into department store photography, which unfortunately our luck behooved upon us an inexperience photographer ,who couldn't catch a loving moment even if it smacked her in the face. lol Justin ended up being very upset about it but the pictures turned out okay. Of course our bug was about as cute as she could be and at that point it didn't matter.

I also have recently upgraded my digital camera from a Nikon Coolpix L16 to a Nikon Coolpix S6000. I was able to get it for $89.00 on amazon.com and it usually retails for about $199.00.

I ordered it on a Friday and received in the mail by Thursday. It was very prompt and packaging was well kept and I bought it used but the camera is like new. I can't wait to use it. 

Next year I will finally be able to invest in a DSLR. For my usage and my level of actual advanced photograpy I feel that the Nikon D3100 is best for me.

 I plan to use it to take family photos instead of paying for a photographer but we'll see how that goes lol. I have a passion for photography and hopefully will be able to advance my camera and my skills eventually.
